Veranstaltungsbeschreibung: This course is for the advanced student in sonic-related practices (i.e., practices that involve sound in one or the other way) who want to develop a sound-based work and seeks regular critique from a group that is invested in exploring sound in its material and conceptual dimension. Meaning that the course divides into a practice and theory section to discuss works in progress and related texts on sound, art, philosophy and cognate fields respectively. For the first meeting on Tuesday, October 27, 10 AM, on MS Teams, bring a proposal/idea on what you will work on, or alternatively a piece at its beginning stage that wish to develop. Please note that due to the current situation, the course will be held online with some individual meetings, if possible, at HfK.
Zusätzliche Informationen: This kind of course works best with self-motivated individuals who have basic skills in sound production. Beware that reading (in English) takes commitment and patience. Regular attendance is mandatory. Hauptzielgruppe: DM Master, FK, ID, Music
