Veranstaltungsbeschreibung: We will divide our time between
(1) experimenting with Creative Coding hands-on with the development environments Processing, Unity, and TensorFlow. Also experimenting with ChatGPT, DeepL, DALL-E, and Midjourney. Accessing ChatGPT via API, hacking with ChatGPT.

In the present time of AI-based chatbots and text generators like ChatGPT, and of the paradigm shift in informatics from rule-based to pattern-based intelligence, the question is raised of how can humans forge a partnership with computer-generated “posthuman” language? Code moves beyond the formal logic of Turing and von Neumann towards the possibilities of reuniting with human language and embodying posthuman ethics. informatics is moving beyond the binary logic of discrete identities and differences towards a language of intelligent machines that resembles the resonant language of humans. We seek a dialogue or exchange between posthumans and AI.

(2) learning about theories of posthumanism.

(3) Developing an understanding of the relationship between the PRACTICE of Creative Coding and the THEORY of posthumanism.

We will also look at writing code for games/virtual worlds with Unity, and writing code for Deep Learning neural nets with TensorFlow.
