Official Course Description: MEET YOUR NEIGHBOURS is a platform for intercultural exchange, that evolved from common activities of people from the University of Arts Bremen and refugees from the neighbouring accomodations in the Überseestadt. Since 2015 we have organized various projects and activities, reaching from film and music evenings, language and discussion rounds to design and art workshops. In the next semester we want to focus on three aspects: homework and creative activitites with refugee children and adolescents, graphic and furniture design for a meeting place at Überseestadt and support for media literacy offers for refugees with the Digital Impact Lab. Also the AG is always open for all kinds of ideas and projects, and we are happy about everyone who wants to join!
